Read the subtext in the CEO's statement.
"It would not have an effect on 2023 results". This can only mean the costs of setting up a one off are barely offset by the revenues and the only way it makes sense is if a continuing permit to sell in the US is provided. I believe a2 may have made that a condition of their application. Now thats probably why A2 dragged their feet and as well increasing demand in China.
