TRADING HALT REQUEST (ASX CODE: SIH)

We respectfully request The Australian Securities Exchange (?ASX?) to grant a trading halt
in respect to Sihayo Gold Limited?s securities with immediate effect.
The Company is in the process of finalising arrangements for a capital raising. It is expected
that the Company will make an announcement to end the trading halt and the Company is not
aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted by the ASX.
We request for the trading halt to continue until the commencement of normal trading on the
second trading day after the trading halt has been imposed or alternatively pending an
announcement by the Company.
