Hi Lindfield, I trade through Westpac. If I am Day Trading and buy Monday, I have to sell by Wednesday. If I make a profit, Westpac credits me the difference. If I make a loss, I have to have the "loss" funds in my Westpac a/c then, or sell some other shares by the close of trade on the Wednesday to cover the trade shortfall. Hope this helps.
