While I don’t know in’s and outs of shorting as I’ve never done it and think it is an unethical way to try make money of other peoples losses.
question I have if anyone can answer that understands these things better.
they say when shorters exit they have to buy the shares back which can then cause the Sp to increase and even gain momentum.
if the shorters are exiting which it appears so as the shorts reported are reducing is it possible that the larger sell side is put up to allow the short to exit at a lower price?
yesterday I mentioned I thought it may be to also do with trying to accumulate and I think it actually is a bit of both going on. But I do not no the inner works of how these things happen.
