Read, read, and read some more. Subscribe to email lists like (I'm going to cop it for this one) moneysmart.gov.au, Firstlinks, any of the major brokerage houses, banks etc etc. Get an overall "flow" of what they are trying to say, then unsubscribe to the ones that don't feel right to you.
Return here and ask more questions, not advice of course. There are good people here that will give you straight answers if you show you've done some research first..
