So many people feel threatened or just scared of change.
i don't own an EV and will probably be one of the late buyers of one, but I have driven a friend's Tesla and it was a delight to drive. Build quality could be better but this will come in time.
in 10 years time, EV's and chargers will have progressed dramatically. Stop getting your panties all twisted up over what you see today
