Duke the funding was awarded to Telethon Kids Cancer Centre/Patrys by the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. Kerry Stokes is not on the Board of the Foundation nor is he on the Board of the Telethon Kid Institute. That said he is a very influential individual and could well have had some input into the decision. If he did I doubt that it would be to enhance his investment but rather to accelerate a cure for kids with brain cancer.
