But correct me if im being niave, yes they can release all this oil from reserves but sooner or later they will need to refill these reserves by purchasing oil on the markets from either their own oil companies or from companies in the middle east, Australia etc.
So its not reducing the demand or consumption, its just pushing it out to a later date.
Am I correct or am I missing something?
