Do you really take your queues from the immediate market reaction...? And if so, why bother investing, as your actions suggest the market is right. If I owned a chunk of this business off market (and there was no share price to look at), I'd jump at the opportunity to buy a part of it back at 25% yield.
The buyback makes a lot of sense. Imagine buying $20m of earnings for $80m... In most other cases, people would be all over it (the exception being coal/gas, because ESG...)
