An interesting and clear article regarding SiFive's RISC-V platform, a keen Brainchip partner. With Intel moving into this platform it suggest RISC-V will have a decent slice of the CPU architecture pie.
The battle of CPU architectures between Intel (x86), AMD (x86) and ARM is also very interesting. The latter 2 are slowly eating into Intel's slice of the pie and may even have some joint ventures together...I can only speculate that if this involves Edge AI, Brainchip will likely be involved.
Samsung has gone independent to produce their own CPU architecture but they always have some connection with ARM.
Qualcomm is using ARM but thinking of going out on their own like Samsung...I personally think they have a NDA with Brainchip already or one day bid to takeover Brainchip...just my opinion only.
Then there is the ASIC architecture with the likes of Megachips which is keen to develop their Edge custom ASIC with Brainchip.
So, among the CPU architecture space, Brainchip has made significant inroads...significantly more than any other Edge AI provider!...again only my opinion.
An unusual day on the market...nothing new for Brainchip I guess...my usual top up on the dip...inflation seems easing and avoidance of recession possible with Nasdaq getting hot in US, so can't be all that bad
