They are claiming that the buyback contributes to 11c per share for the investor. But that only comes into play if the value of the company goes up to account for the reduced number of shares.
At some stage they will need to increase their actual returns to Shareholders either in larger dividends or on increased Capital gains. Otherwise if SP stays at these levels we are not seeing the benefits.
