Ann: Hong Kong patent granted for 12CQ quantum computing chip, page-24

Greetings All, just thought a look at the timeline the company has shared before for the 12CQ would give us an idea of where we're at.



The IP Block/Core mention indicates AXE is building a quantum system on a chip, using standardized pre-designed components that can be used in various design configs.

EDA suppliers working with AXE to configure chip and physically verify it. They also work with developing/refining intellectual property and are the logical intermediary between chip designer and foundry. EDAs are multi billion dollar companies in their own right, listed on the NASDAQ. This path to commercialization is for consumer chips. Defence applications would need some government involvement. But since AXE doesn't mention defence applications in this slide I will stick to high volume consumer chip manufacture. Looking forward to some news on the finalised design and licensing agreements before year's end.

Those who know the company ethos better than me, will AXE stay the course all the way to sales and distribution to Archer's customers, which could take years... or will they do a deal with an intermediary and sell/license the proven IP design a lot quicker? The IP business alone is very lucrative. After all, this is just one part of their chip portfolio, the other being the Bio chip. What would share holders prefer? I'm a bit on the fence with this one. Already the R&D from AXE has been exciting to own. Should we reap the dollar value of it sooner rather than later is an interesting question.
