So from Scomos press conference today. He harped on at length what a hero he was during covid and how he granted himself these extraordinary powers to save us from the Varus.. Just in case his ministers and their subordinates where too incompetent to fulfil their duties of course.. But thankfully due to his leadership it never came to that and he never used this power. Except for one time… To kill PEP11 to try win some votes from a bunch of greeny tealsy’s that didn’t vote for Libs in the election anyway.
So my read of the play is he has loaded up these other portfolios under the noble guise of stepping in and being micro manager in chief during the pandemic. Yet the actual goal was to usurp Keith Pitt & kill PEP11 to win some unwinnable votes. Like a reverse pork
barrel if you will.
As he stated this was the only thing he actioned in these emergency roles. Something that had absolutely nothing to
do with the pandemic he modestly credited himself to curing.
Ol Scotty from marketing really has gotten himself into some mischief here hasn’t he?
