I expect this will prove to have been a cunning move at 2023 year end when results are reported. And a gift for holders that have taken up the offer. Even if SP drops a little below the offer price in the short term, having a war chest of cash to invest in quality companies during current volatile times is prudent. Options strategies should also benefit...
