A number of factors in today’s rise I think :
(1)The market has decided yesterday’s results weren’t so bad after all
(2) CEO out there in the market peddling the message that growth is ahead
(3) Macquarie upgrade to target price ($329.50)
and
(4) as a ‘quality defensive’ CSL often sees some buying when the broader market is selling off.
If you believe the broader market rally has just about run its course you’d be especially happy with your CSL holding right now.
