Production costs are excellent. Trucking and rail is up from my original estimation.

"The largest cost will be transport, if it wasn't high 65% grade IO concentrate then it would be a real concern.
Trucking from mine site to railhead should be accomplished at A$2/tonne maximum as its only 12km.
This is a real bonus a short trucking distance, some companies like E25 transport manganese ore 600km to port by truck at 9c/t/km.
If using the same price, trucking would cost A$1 for ELE.
Rail is the way to go, although Tenant Creek to Port of Darwin is 1,000km. The basic cost of rail is 4c/t/km but this could be cheaper if ELE gets a good deal. Therefore allow A$40/tonne to Darwin.
Shipping Darwin to China via Supramax would be A$50/tonne. on a 50,000 tonne load, a small load would be uneconomic as E25 found out the hard way.
Total transport costs about A$100/tonne."
This report shows costs at
"$AU 65 per tonne transport from site to over the ships rail; and • $US 30 per tonne shipping."
ie A$65/t + US$30/t ( A$43) = A$108/t
The cost of transport as increased in the year since I first estimated costs.
What is more of a concern is the current price of 65% IO concentrate which has gone down.
