Obviously other factors are far more important than carbon dioxide.

And remember all this oil use did not prevent climate scientists claiming we were going to freeze before they changed their tune.....

The one thing that has not changed is they still get sent $$$$ by a new bunch of gullible politicians - no corporate memory is a very bad thing.
