To my knowledge (and I’m trying to fact check this) has there never been an offshore gas rig disaster in Australia? I need to have this backed up before I make the statement in the media release. All the so called scaremongering seems absolutely baseless.

From what I can gather the only disaster has been an oil rig by Montara in 2009 off WA/Timor Sea.

So in 60 years since 1965 since the incident in Bass Strait by BHP Billiton there has never been an accident in oil exploration drilling in Australia other than Montara.

From my research we have 23 offshore oil and gas platforms alone in Bass Strait that have been incident free in their history. Yet to research the rest of Australia.

To my knowledge there has never been a gas exploration drilling incident in our history. This would be a great statement backed up for the media release.

We all did do our due diligence on what was transparent, without all the factual information at the time.

It was impossible for us as shareholders to know that Wicks, Falinksi etc. potentially knew the PM was resources minister and weren’t just politically protesting. You’re right, they seemed so adamant and sure.

Thanks, it would be great if you could get some more bullet points to me. My goal is 50 choice bullet points to draw on both supporting PEP-11 and responding to the ‘Nimby’ argument. It would be good to put the points up in a post. I’ll compile the list and if anyone wants to enhance them/tweak them, that’d be great.

Yes that’s the my intention, I’m over seeing PEP-11 being figureless and voiceless and only Breeze in his corporate manner waffling. I want a real person up there with confidence, passion and belief in PEP-11 to represent on TV, radio and press, but most importantly from a shareholders perspective on the way the company has been wronged by Scott Morrison’s actions.
