good point greggy, we shouldn't assume we're even going to have access to the discounted shares and may well be exclusive to sophisticated investors.
Important to realise that there's a difference between a cap riase to purchase income producing assets etc as opposed to financing debt and other internal problems.
I don't think the dropoff will be all that substantial. I give FML and RXM as two recent examples where the $ was going towards funding useful assets/eploration and the sp drop was minimal and then recovered plus more.
