The extension reason is a total unknown. The only thing we know for sure is they havent reached the MAX limit.. Asking for an extension could mean various things.
1) they didnt make the 300 yet.
2) they did make it but would like more if they can find a way. Given the issues with Atomic, perhaps that was the grounds for the extension request. Even if they have 50 mill lined up, why wouldnt you ask for an extension if you can get a way with it. Atomics issues may be grounds for that.
