dap tops $500 per tonne

Lots of bullish news floating around but thought I would share this.

US GULF/TAMPA:

Late last week, Transammonia bought
DAP from Agrifos out of Pasadena, Texas at $474/mt FOB US
Gulf. By the end of this week prices for DAP out of Tampa had
moved up sharply, with again Transammonia paying $500/mt
FOB Tampa to CF for 30-50,000 mt of DAP. PhosChem is
believed to have rejected bids below that level this week, after
previously offering as low as $470/mt FOB one week earlier.
PhosChem has not made new export sales this week.
Meanwhile, Transammonia sold 45,000 mt loading in
February to an Australian buyer on a market related formula.
The trader also has sold 80-100,000 mt of DAP for Pakistan
on a formula basis, although there are rumours one of the
cargoes may have been fixed priced. One cargo will load
for Pakistan in February, and a second will load in March.
