They will need to be fined more than they made, hobbled, severe regulatory oversight initiated (at Pfizer's cost) and ultimately shut down. All the executives will likewise need to return more than twice their ill gotten gains, with some of them incarcerated.

Whatever is done, it needs to send a string message that if you profit from nefarious activities, you will have to pay much more than you got. We are at a turning point in human justice that we haven't seen since the Nuremberg trials.

"Crime doesn't pay" and "He who wishes to be rich in a day will be hanged in a year" come to mind. 2023 is going to be a very interesting year.
