It aint going to happen. Well at least I hope not. I'm glad Altium rejected previous offers even though the SP sits below the Autodesk takeover offer.

furthermore, I tend to disagree that the SP bumped due to speculation of a takeover offer. The SP bumped because this is a company growing its earnings, growing its dividend and is still in its infancy of a business looking to dominate.

I've said this before, but too much attention paid just to one metric ie: PE - can really screw you up in the long term. If I could go back in time and purchase those great businesses that I thought looked way too expensive back then, I'd be much, much better off right now. But hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I hope Altium never receive a takeover offer. But I'd vote in favour of takeover offer at say...$100/share. Haha...
