the dispute is this

the pagans like Lovelock are concerned about planet earth and future generations of life

where as the fundy Christians are concerned about making as much money as possible and then primarly concerned about their life after death in heaven by simply calling the name of Jesus

the dispute is not religious but materialist

the Christians wish to exploit the earth for all they can get whilst the pagans seek to preserve the earth and keep human affairs in sustainable balance

that is the basics of it

as I said, Christianity is morally bankrupt

doing good by only having sex with your wife as a ticket to heaven, without having a moral view towards to rest of life is morally bankrupt

when the Pope, Pell, Abbott, Nile and the others speak, most people simply block their ears

the blind cannot lead those with sight

the Pagan view is more wise & compassionate than the Christian view (unless we are dreaming about our eternal life in heaven, where we will fight with the Muslims dreaming about their eternal life in heaven)
