Im more price focused in the stuff i do rick an imagine the day traders are as well . The conflict between seeing red versus green is swaying you naturally i reckon in the noise of the market . The smoothing of the candle noise makes a lot sense imo

We seem average everything else out in indicators why not the candles as a natural part of it ?

Just master the art and see how it goes . red on the screen green on the screen like that rat hitting the button .
