(THIS IS YESTERDAY's POST. Someone got it moderated that it should not be in Chart thread. I have asked how it is not when I am talking about number SP 500 chart number etc. Chart discussion does not mean there always has to be a diagram. Not sure who has a problem, but easy to guess - you can't keep everyone happy. If my post can be moderated on that ground, it makes me wonder how any of the posts are still there - but lets see I have asked, hence I have posted in this thread)

Consolidation in right direction

Yes AZL gained 1 pip to finish on 8.9c. Our volume was average, similar to last few days, just under 42m shares traded.

ASX Li stocks had a decent day. Of the 54 stocks that I track, average gain was 4%.

Yesterday US Li stocks had a similar day like us today. Though the ETF of LIT lost around 1%, other stocks had decent gains, average was 4% - similar to us.

What next -

Yesterday I had mentioned that I was hoping for some green, even if its not a big one. The US markets played accordingly once more and most indices had small gains - average would be around 0.4%. ASX today was also in green, doing slightly better than US, gaining around 0.7%. Most stocks had gains, one sector I follow, the Uranium, had massive gains, the other sector, the Lithium, decent gains. All in all a good day.

So continuing from yesterday around SP 500 not making fall of more than 3% from last Friday, we pared some losses yesterday, and now its under 2% - so we have some more room to play. Volatility index VIX also had a good drop, from 24.11 to 22.82 - decent drop, but still above our level of 20. So yesterday things moved in right direction. So there is still hope that we may be on a bull run. If SP 500 breaks 4225, the 200 day moving average, that will really make all stocks fly - lets hope we see that.

Personally it was a frantic day for me. I had hedged some of my funds to other sectors, moved a lot of them to my two core sectors.

So what will happen tonight? US Futures are in green, for a change. And its moderate green as I write, not just a small green. Asian markets were very strong today on the back of China stimulus - good decent greens all around. The Volatility index sitting at 22.82, above 20 but moving in right direction. Cryptos have not made big gains, but they are also slowly moving up. Bitcoin crossed the consolidation zone of 21k to 21.5k, and play around 21.7k now - so they are feeling good about tonight as well. Announcements - US GDP Growth rate, Consumer Spending, some earnings report. Big one is tomorrow when Powell will speak. Before that we have 1 trading day left. Before Powell sours everything (but lets hope its other way round), lets make merry and hopefully US indices go for a big green. Will that happen? Lets hope so. All the best.
