Where one substantial holder exits another keeps buying. Allan Gray has gone from just under 10% to just over 14% in a couple of days. I agree with Tinwins as being an overall positive rather than Coen's exit which some see as a negative. A professional but quiet market investor across a range of sectors versus a holder who acquired a shareholding as a result of a business sale.
And in response to the concern that SSM may become a business for the benefit of senior staff, again we need to look at Allan Gray's not insubstantial holding and its need for performance.
