Zeglander, interest rates will not keep going up. They are an instrument to control inflation and do run in cycles.
Wheris a change in tech is for future, and way beyond our generations.
Outside emissions. We will eventually run out of fossil fuels irrespective of climate.
As to charging, easy. At the moment solar is not efficient, a solar panel only converts 15% on average sun into power.
Over time solar will easily convert 30% of the sun to power.
We might not even need to charge them ourselves, at the moment nano paints are being worked on that would allow the entire car surface to be solar gathering.
Same with glass, imagine not needing windscreen wipers to clean, self cleaning carpets already exist via nano.
Future will depend on developments in nano mainly.
