Serious question here, has anyone on here ever been involved in a project, either at a business or personal level?

I wanted a house built. I didn't just go and buy the first block of land I saw, neither did I just look at one or two plans, there was a lot of to'ing and fro'ing before land was acquired and a contract to build was signed, and even then there was further backwards and forwards as initially the local authority knocked back the building approval.

Basically there was a lot to organise and that was just for a house, not even half a million all up. It's a lot more convoluted for a $200m+ project and I didn't even have to deal with the tradies side, just the builder.
