Judging by the date, this is old news; nevertheless, I don't remember mik confirming any of these sales; it was all supposed to be secret. But the following from the Sirit website confirms that Mik's Smart and Secure are being provided in all Sirit's Sth American operations. Further, it suggests than further countries are in the pipeline.
This from the Sirit site:

In summary:
Smart&Secure deployed in Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay
Strong signs of adoption in other Latin America countries
Security such as Smart&Secure vital for robust AVI systems
MIKOH Corporation Limited today reported on progress being made by its technology and channel partner, Sirit Inc., in the Automated Vehicle Identification (AVI) market of Latin America, and on the increasing adoption of MIKOHs Smart&Secure RFID tag security technology in this market. Smart&Secure has been integrated into recently announced electronic toll collection systems being deployed by Sirit in Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay.
Sirit reported last month that progress has also been achieved in other countries across Latin America, and they are actively working at converting these opportunities into new revenue channels.
As countries upgrade their legacy systems throughout South America, governments are specifying destruct-on-removal for their tolling and registration labels, effectively mandating a requirement for Smart&Secure. Enabling seamless migration from current legacy systems to new state-of-the-art high-security AVI systems promotes increased adoption of electronic tolling and provides incremental revenue flow to governments in Latin America.
In October 2008 MIKOH entered a three-year agreement that licensed Sirit to exclusively promote and sell MIKOHs patented tamper-indication Smart&Secure technology worldwide in AVI systems where physically secure vehicle tags are required. In return, MIKOH is paid a sliding-scale royalty based on volume. Revenues from this arrangement have begun to flow to MIKOH this year with the incorporation of MIKOHs Smart&Secure into Sirits tag manufacturing lines at the end of 2008 for 2009 production.
MIKOHs Smart&Secure is a powerful tool in the prevention of fraud, identity theft, and sabotage of government implemented AVI systems said Matt Blomfield, Managing Director of MIKOH. More and more we are seeing governments mandating destruct-on-removal or DoR in their tender documents to protect the value and integrity of AVI systems. We expect to see Smart&Secure increasingly adopted as governments around the world move into AVI and Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR) - both to ensure the expected return on investment and to protect and reassure the general public, who will be using the technology.
Does anyone remember this press release?
Now, this is also very old but it does point to another avenue being chased by "Sirit".
Johannesburg, SA - 4/16/2009 - The Sirit range of RFID products is the latest offering from local IT specialist, Roan Systems. Targeted at meeting the global demand for automatic ID systems, Sirit provides both embedded and fixed reader solutions.
The growing number of RFID applications proves that the technology is only limited by the imagination of the user. Sirit has products which allow effective tracking of vehicles, assets, medicines and medical equipment, and livestock. The technology has found widespread support in areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, retail and warehousing.
Recent deals have seen Sirit adopted by companies such as Swiss retailer Manor, for its warehousing and supply chain functions, as well as the 200 hypermarkets which form part of Germany-based METRO Groups Real brand. There has also been government support, with the US Government naming Sirit as the preferred reader under its US$75million program to provide RFID devices for its Department of Defense, Coast Guard, other Federal Agencies, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Coalition Partners and, other Foreign Military Sales over three years. Here, the product range will be required to provide an integrated structure for logistic identification, tracking, locating and monitoring of commodities and assets.
In addition to Sirits RFID hardware offering , Roan will also be distributing the Sirits RFID antennas, inlays and tags.
Frikkie Koegelenberg, MD of Roan Systems, is delighted with the new development. Sirits range fits perfectly into our existing RFID stable, he says. This move is in keeping with our strategy to stay ahead of market trends by offering advance solutions to customers.
Roans reputation as a provider of consistently reliable RFID and printing solutions makes the company a valuable distributor for partners like Sirit. In addition, the companys aggressive sourcing of increasingly advanced solutions ensures that clients stay at the forefront of the RFID movement.
