My experience comes from having just built a brand new house in Cairns.
We signed the deal, fixed price in June 2021.
We took ownership a few weeks ago, 30 June 2022.
The builder, a large Qld company, told me off record, that they lost $50,000 because it was fixed price.
I feel for those poor home seekers involved with the latest Oracle Co collapse.
