As a new investor, brighthope, you have managed to get your head around all the aspects of PTX's business model in a short span of time. Great to have you on board. Your post has helped me to formulate a better understanding of what I was touching on with Hottod on the other thread with regards to CellPryme. There are few points you made which flicked the switch in my dimly-lit brain that I think has helped join a few more dots. The clarity suggests the following:-

    CellPryme Platform

    • CP-M cells target cancerous cells externally and CP-A cells target cancerous cells internally
    • CP-M cells work to negate over-stimulatory effects associated with immunotherapy outside the cell (causing inflammatory condition)
    • CP-A cells work in reverse to combat the immune-suppressed environment that exists inside cancerous cells (esp. solid tumors)
    • The CP Platform addresses all problematic issues of immunotherapy (via the cell) that OmniCAR also does (via the antigen receptor)
    • Combining our two platforms promises to maximise the beneficial effects of CarT therapy and achieve CarT success in solid tumors

Well, that's my summary on CellPryme. And here's an intersting article on the various generations of CarT... now approaching its 6th gen version: https://www.proteogenix.science/scientific-corner/car-t/car-t-generations/#fourth-generation-or-truck-car-t-cells

The article leads me to believe that PTX is up there (or rather out there ahead of the mob) with OmniCAR and CellPryme. Well, thus far, the co. indicates that both address the issues of each new generation of CarT. There doesn't appear to be anything suggesting otherwise. No matter how sophisticated the CarT construct, our technology is applicable and will deliver the same benefits to whatever generation of CarT to which they are combined.to

If PTX have managed to nail the tech as guided, holy moly, this is humongous news. Our innate immune system does not recognise cancer all that well... hence, why early detection is vital. Cancer pretty much goes unnoticed due to the fact that our body doesn't respond the way it does to say infection or injury. An inflammatory response doesn't occur until its well progressed and causes effects to other parts of our body and, in some instances, doesn't occur til its too late.

Immunotherapy struggles for a few reasons - the first, is that the over-perliferation of immune cells can cause inflammation in the body which is detrimental in itself and result in what's akin to auto-immune disorder. That results in a highly sensitive, highly unfavourable immune condition in overdrive. The second reason immunotherapy struggles is that the science that works well in the area of blood cancer doesn't in solid tumors due its different nature. The lack of blood and oxygen in solid tumors is the problem. Its like the cells are stubborn to the effects of immunotherapy simply because its suppresed in an environment starved of what immune cells need to survive which is oxygen (well, thats my basic interpretation).

So, if my understanding is correct (and it may not be, of course), then PTX and its team is an absolute gem to behold. I just hope I am right... and no black swan is going to swoop on by and crap on us! If its just the macro BS (black swan) then that's ok, I can handle that. I don't handle fundamentals falling in a heap... only to discover down the track that management have been BSing and that I overlooked the red flags. But with this one... I feel that won't be the case and we can finally take solace somewhere in this bear crap market. redface.png
