I believe it was I that initially posted the article regarding the Young ANC leader.
At the end of the day much of the money invested in the South African mining sector is foreign.
The South African Government knows can not afford to loose the confidence of foreign entities and has come out and openly said it is not a Policy the Government is following up on.
Also the BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) already overcomes many of the issues.
One only has to see what has happened in Zimbabwe and is now happening in Venezuela. Not only does one loose the investment dollar but it looses much of the required knowledge to run the operations.
Also Could you see the major economic powers simply sit by and watch as 20%-30% of the worlds Gold output and 70%-80% of the worlds PGM output and a large portion of other commodities such as diamonds and iron be put at risk? I wouldnt think so!
