By the way comments from Jackson Hole such a contrast to 12 months ago where Powell characterised surging inflation in the US as "transitory and confined to a relatively narrow range of pandemic-affected goods" that he said would “wash out over time”,
The Fed Reserve have become a total joke IMHO .... Or is it just that the worlds economy is just too complex for a bunch of old bankers to actually get any forecasts right. The danger mat be that since the GFC they actually widely broadcast their thoughts & maybe even more scarily they might actually believe their rhetoric.
