I would not go as far as saying a crash the size of 1929 would never happen but the chances are very slim.
The correct or should I saw the wrong combination of circumstance could come into play as they did in 1929 although they would probably be different circumstances and result in such a crash.
Unlikely but nothing is impossible and in the mean time it will give the doomsdayers something to harp on this time of year as they have done for nearly 80 years
