I have never heard of a CEO entering a IPO with the view that the share price isn’t going to rise. Assessing the performance of a company based on director share buying and purely on the movement of the share price seems (in my view) flawed at best. Maybe investing in an unlisted company may be more appropriate for this approach. If you can’t see the share price then one will be forced to assess the company on its fundamentals which may take some more knowledge of how businesses work. Although I do know many only assess performance based on movement of the share price. It’s just not how I value companies.
This company has performed exceptionally and the directors should be congratulated on their results. Especially the CEO, Blair who has led the company during extremely difficult times. I am very excited about the future of the company and if the performance continues, then I believe the share price will have no option but to follow
