    The second link I provided above explains how how the top 30cm of soil has the potential to sequest up to 11 billion tons of CO2. This does not account for soil below that depth which acn go deeper than one meter and corbon laden roots much deeper.

    We also know that increased CO2 is greening the world as NASA has recorded. This in itself is promoting more carbon sequestation.
