I’m not really a cult-of-personality investor, hence why I always found the fawning over the two “Docs” here early days a bit much (and it’s also why I refrain from going overboard for LLL’s Simon Hay despite his credentials and track record, simply because - as we’ve seen here - things can all change in the blink of an eye).

But the hiring of the new CEO and recomposition of the board is going to be a very critical moment that will likely define the market response to a resumption of trade (assuming M&A isn’t currently underway). The company needs to turn a very big corner, and a known, battle-hardened, boots-on-the-ground, roll-the-sleeves-up MD/CEO is exactly what we need for a full resumption of credibility and trust. Very much looking forward to news of progress with this soon.
