We have always been normal maybe you need a redefinition of what normal is - it is a state of mind, if you didn't submit you would be normal I didn't and nothing has changed for me, go live in the country you will see how remoteness soothes the ailing mind. When you are far from the maddening crowd with no external influences such as social media you give yourself time to heal.
