With all due respect pinto, if you don't have the resources to buy ETFs; then you certainly don't have the resources to properly buy, store and sell physical gold.
You have physical for when the doo doo hits the fan! But do you have all the other resources to make it worth your while? Imagine: if gold is gonna become that valuable that you cannot trust the structures that Soros trusts. How are you gonna benefit from sitting on something that valuable?
Consider ETFs or Perth Mint Certs for everything other than the end of the world. And for the end of the world as we know it: seriously consider religion.
