Good comments thanks. Yes I do wonder how a chart can predict a groundbreaking announcement on the basis of past share movements.

I am relatively new to this game, and have found that browsing and reading posts here a lot have taught me a lot about which are rubbish and which are only possibly rubbish (anything else seems to be rare), and which posters are useful and which ones are not (the former outnumbering the latter by a huge margin). But it's still useful to gain a feel for things. And the more I do it the easier it becomes.
