I would be absolutely astonished if there was anybody left in TLS with an average price anywhere near $7.40!!!

For one, you need to remember that T3 gave everyone the opportunity to sell at a price well above $4 and take some tax losses, whilst replacing them with an equal number of shares at a cost price for tax purposes, including the bonus shares, of $3.47..

I bought T3 and have continued buying everytime that they have been smashed down as low as $2.93 and each time they have recovered above $3.50 and $4.. They will do the same again..

It was not that long ago, when BHP was an unwanted child at <$8, that all the analysts would say was that they would not recover and had a very limited future, the same mood as TLS now..

Telstra will recover, maybe not to the same extent as BHP, but they will come out of this a much leaner and more importantly, a much meaner machine..
