Exactly! I left an open question hoping someone would provide a response that reinforces the point. Yes, the sell / buy is somewhat irrelevant where bids/offers are placed so far away from the price action. However, a willingness to tie up capital to try and portray market sentiment and influence retail demonstrates they are doing it for a reason. For me its just one of many indicators, but to ignore it entirely is probably not correct either.
