The pursuit of SocietyOne has killed MME. Considering they knocked back a $3 offer from latitude, their strategy could not have been worse. Considering that management never even told shareholders about the latitude offer and we had to find out through the AFR was a kick in the guts. In light of all that has happened would their be grounds for a class action? So much wealth has been destroyed through what I consider poor decision making. And with the share price crumbling further since the trading halt where does this now leave mme in regard to debt covenants? Are the debt covenants related to market capitalisation? If so this will be a vicious cycle of cap raises to create more shares on issue to prop up the market cap. What happens next Tuesday when the instos that thought they were getting a bargain at 28% discount start cutting their losses? More questions than answers at the moment. What a shocker.
