My conclusion is if the ‘climate change lockdowns’ do happen, then we will all be screwed and become serfs regardless of whether we invest in coal or anything else for that matter. However if we as society regrow some sort of backbone and don’t allow this to happen, the upside for coal is in my opinion still huge.
