That's not true: the shorts can choose to close whenever they want. More shares would have been available for the borrow when AVZ entered the 200; when AVZ leave the 200 the shorts don't need to be returned..!
To imply that instos and others will be 'forced' to buy 90m shares at a time 'not of their choosing' is ridiculous.
I'm not a shorter, but some of the information about shorting on HC is so consistently wrong.
Good thing is the shorts data will be available for all to see. Time will tell...
