With Coal beginning to become Australia's most value export is it about time that the taxpayer (including coal companies) funded ABC started to show the coal price each night. They do this for iron ore every night which must be based on the logic of it's value to Australia as an export so it stands to reason that if another commodity becomes more valuable then it should either be added to the presentation each evening or replace iron ore. When they show commodities like Silver that only make a relatively small export contribution it does create the question of why coal is off the list. The only time it is there is when there is an extreme event, especially a fall. Come on ABC, you do some great work but report the news that matters, don't apply political filters.
