Nice to read a calm intelligent post playez.

In regard to your comment on the disclosures. Everyone seems to agree with you, including me. At times when I have been running tech companies people say to me not to put so much in writing, it will get you into trouble. To which I reply it only gets you in trouble if you do something wrong, otherwise once in a while what you documented saves your arse. I thrive on openness and transparency.

In regard to your comment on the silicon tech, for me it is difficult to understand what the technical barriers are. Any electricity not used immediately and left over, feeds an electrical heating system of some kind, perhaps an element, to heat up the silicon. The material could be anything and salt, water and other systems exist already, but different materials sore more or less heat, so silicon is good because it stores a lot.

Then when the sun is not shining or the wind is not blowing or the tide is not tiding, the heat is sucked out, cooling the silicon again. Like the old off-peak heating systems, sucking the heat out later as heat is the easiest which is one of the products offered by 14D, sucking it out and reconverting it to electricity for the off period is another option, more difficult, so much so that 14D is offering only the first option first. (Having struggled with the heat to electricity systems.) But conversion of heat to electricity has also been done readily for a long time. One challenge is the efficiency. The real challenge though is the high heat of the silicon, and the high temperature refractory metals to store the molten material, the safety and insulation systems, these are not trivial challenges of course; that is what all the investment and time and talent has been for. I could do it, and my engineering friends could do it. I'm tempted to add with our eyes closed.

Technology disclosures need to be careful because of patents and trade secrets and other intellectual property, but directors are required by law to keep shareholders advised of material facts. That is where this team of corporate officers seem to be failing, like you say, and like I believe.
