Absolutely right! We need to be cost competitive with the other salt producers to be successful.
I recently ran into a shipping broker and had a chat about salt shipping. He told me that the idea of shipping salt in larger ships (like capesize mentioned in the Mardie presentations) was BS. There wouldn't be any customers taking lots that large. Also, most customer ports are supposedly size restricted. If that's right I sure hope there are some other operating cost advantages at Mardie over the existing WA operations.
