    Hotfire,

you said "Cash Operating Cost is the equivalent to RMS quoting "Cash Cost""

which implies you think the RMS figure of A$420/oz is comparable to the OGC figure of US$411/oz.
I'm telling you those are not comparable, since (1) RMS state they made a net profit before tax of A$15million on 20,000oz... and OGC state they made a net profit before tax and hedging adjustments of US$25.6million on 300,000oz; (2) RMS state that costs are inclusive of operating cash costs, royalties and capex... and OGC state that US$411/oz is only the operating cash cost (for full year 2009 - and Q4 of US$484/oz)

past sp performance is no guide to future sp performance :) otherwise we could simply state that from Apr2006 to Apr2007 RMS went from 10c to $2 per share, whereas over the same period OGC stagnated at 75c per share.

RMS doesn't need me to buy more shares, it needs to update the market on how they're progressing so the market can have confidence that they can perform as a company.

I'm happy that you can brush off a ~US$125 increase to costs per ounce. I personally can't and I'd suspect most market players wouldn't either, especially if it keeps going up that track.
